She wanted to fly because she wanted to be free.

This is my aviator-inspired outfit. Planes fly over Seattle all the time, and with the new Amelia Earhart movie coming soon, starring Hilary Swank and Richard Gere, I wanted to celebrate a little aviator style. I recently discovered that Amelia started her own hand-sewn clothing line, which eventually failed. Despite the failure then, I believe aviator style flies now. Luckily enough, planes flew by in the background during this photoshoot. I have a ruffled Charlotte Russe blouse and green carpris with long brown socks tucked in some peep toe sandals. I feel as if the jacket, which is surprisingly waterproof, gives the old, aviator feel I was searching.
